Course Objectives:
This Agency is hosting the professional training staff of the National Rifle Association Law Enforcement Activities Division who will be presenting a 5-day Law Enforcement Handgun/Shotgun Instructor School at the Audrain County Sheriff's Office on June 24-28, 2013. Class size is limited and this school is open for law enforcement personnel ONLY. Tuition for the law enforcement firearm instructor development school is $595. 700 Hour Basic Law Enforcement Training Course
(Class "A" License)
Beginning August 2013
The Missouri Sheriffs' Association Training Academy will sponsor a part-time basic 700 class in Mexico, Missouri, starting in August 2012 and running through June 2013. The class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.; Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and a few selected Sundays.
Financial aid and college credits will be through Missouri State University, West Plains campus. Contact Rachel Peterson at 417-255-7978 concerning the financial aid process.
