Bailiff & Transport Division

The Audrain County Sheriff's Office Bailiff Division is comprised of State Certified law enforcement officers that serve the court and judges of Audrain County. The Bailiff Division includes a Bailiff Captain, Lieutenant and three Bailiffs. The Bailiff Division is charged with securing the courthouse and courtrooms, receiving and processing persons on the court docket, serving court papers, and transporting inmates.

Records Division

The Audrain County Sheriff's Office Records Division is comprised of a Records Captain who acts as the Administrative Assistant and bookkeeper for the Audrain County Sheriff's Office. The Records Division is charged with processing Concealed Carry Weapons permits, maintaining agency records, processing board bills and medical expenses, and collecting board bill and medical expense payments. The Captain is assisted by one full-time and one part-time employee.

Volunteer Unit

The Audrain County Sheriff's Office Volunteer (Reserves) Unit is comprised of State licensed (certified) law enforcement officers who volunteer their services to our office. Each of these deputies possess at least the minimum training standards required by the State of Missouri. Each deputy is required to attend monthly continuing education supported by the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training Academy and/or in-house training. This volunteer force is utilized to augment the full time force and they donate several hours of work each year.
