The Audrain County Cadet Program trains young people interested in a career in law enforcement. Members of the Audrain County Cadet Program help the community, learn leadership skills, and assist law enforcement officers. Through the Cadet Program, cadets gain experience by riding along with Sheriff's Deputies, working with corrections officers at the Audrain County Jail, Working with Bailiffs at the Courthouse, and attending law enforcement training.

Cadet Program Requirements:

• Must be 15 - 21 years of age

• Must be in good standing with the community

• Must maintain “C” level grades in school

• Must pass a background check
